HELP FIGHT MY TAXES!

If you haven't already, you will soon receive the tax valuation for your home from the county appraisal district. There are a couple of different options you can explore to protest your property taxes and lower the annual cost!
Please note that you must file your notice NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS after the appraisal district mailed you their appraised value. This is 30 days from the mailed date, NOT the date receipted.
Option 1:
If you purchased a home in the past year for less than the 2025 appraised value, your first line of defense is your Closing Statement. Sending the County Appraisal District a copy of your Closing Statement should provide the required proof to lower the value to the purchase price.
NOTE: If you cannot find your Closing Statement, please feel free to give us a call. We would be delighted to send you a copy.
Option 2:
Supplying the County Appraisal District with comparable homes from the last year can support a lower valuation. By completing the fields to the right, we can help by compiling the necessary materials by using the information you provide. Please allow up to 1 week to receive your compiled information. If you require it sooner, simply specify in the comments section and we will accommodate.
It is crucial that you play an active role in the county's valuation of your property. Their valuation is solely based on a general idea of what your home should be worth, and they may do this without ever stepping foot inside your home or quite possibly even on the property.
By taking action, you help keep residential records accurate and have the possibility of saving yourself hundreds of dollars each year!
We are committed to providing first class service before, during, and after the transaction. If we can be of any further assistance to you, please feel free and call us at 972-899-5600.
